Rufus Rawls

As a Servant leader, he continues to commit himself to walking in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Inspired and anointed by God to glorify the risen Christ, he answered the call to teach believers while reaching out to unbelievers.  Committed to preaching Christ, he continues to experience miracles and deliverance in his ministry.

A follower of the tenets of the Bible, he has experienced the miraculous power of God, personally and within his sphere of influence.  Promoting unity and oneness in the body of Christ is the inspiration for numerous publications (books, pamphlets, readings, training aids, etc.).  Several publications include The Second Coming of Christ: The Rapture and the Revelation, The Perfect Thinker, Committed Love, The Maturing Thinker, and “The Marriage Wheel”. As an active member of his local community he has, during his ministry, personally served in the following ministries and outreach programs – Billy Brumfield House (Halfway house for Drug Offenders); Beginning Again in Christ Ministries (Reformed Inmates Program); the Roaring Lions (Community of Local Ministers); Outreach Programs; GED Training Program; and a community Local Summer Youth Ministry.  He also broadcasts Sunday sermons on WPRG Radio International, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A strong advocate of education, he, along with his wife, personally sponsors youth through annual scholarship stipends and mentors them toward their various career goals, whether it is college, military, or other chosen career paths.  Forever learning, Pastor Rawls deems himself a learner and teacher under the power of the Holy Spirit and continues to grow in his upward calling of God in Christ Jesus. He holds a Doctorate in Theology, but considers himself a student and not a graduate of the Bible.  He and his wife, Ora, have four children – Angelique, Demetria, Teshanda, and Langston, along with many children they have loved and mentored.

His proclamation for ministry is summarized in Luke 4:18, 19 (KJV),  “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
